The drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara is nothing short of breathtaking – a perfect way to get a glimpse of Nepal's stunning landscapes. Follow the well-made roads and witness the beauty of rivers, green hills, terraced fields, and waterfalls before reaching Pokhara. Alternatively, you can also choose to fly or raft your way to Pokhara for an even more exhilarating experience.
The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek kicks off from Nayapul, which is just an hour's drive from Pokhara. As you trek, prepare to be captivated by fields of maize, millet, and rice. Along the way, you will also pass by a beautiful waterfall before reaching Birethanti. From there, continue on to Sudami and Tikhedhunga.
The trail then takes you through lush forests of oak and rhododendron, with a steep climb up the ridgeline. Passing by Ulleri, you will finally reach Nangethanti before ascending to Ghorepani. From this vantage point, get ready to feast your eyes on majestic snow-capped Himalayan mountains.
Continue the trek with an invigorating climb up a steep stone stairway, as you make your way through terraced fields and verdant forests of oak and rhododendron. Passing by Ulleri, reach Nangethanti before finally reaching Ghorepani – where you can witness breathtaking views of the snow-capped Himalayas.

As your journey comes to an end, enjoy one last scenic drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. Take this opportunity to do some shopping and visit the remaining monuments in the city.
